We welcome people who would like to volunteer.

The Centre is run entirely by volunteers, there are no paid staff.

Without volunteers the Heritage Centre could not function.

If you are 18 or over and  can spare just a couple of hours a week (or more) and would like to join our friendly team, please contact the Centre using the volunteer button or pop in for a coffee and a chat. We really would like to meet you.

For over 20 years, Rothwell Arts & Heritage Centre has been preserving our past, celebrating creativity and enriching our community through the dedication and passion of our volunteers.

As a vibrant, volunteer-led organisation, we care for Rothwell's archives, photographs and heritage collections, showcase local artists in our gallery, welcome visitors to our tearoom and bring our community together through displays, events, craft fairs and an engaging social media presence.

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They contribute a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm while developing new skills, building confidence, making lasting friendships and helping to preserve our town's unique heritage for future generations.
