CURD TART RECIPE
RAHC would like to thank Mrs Ann Jones for the recipe

This recipe has been handed down through the generations. When Ann Jones was married her mother-in-law taught her how to make them. The milk, from a local farm, was mixed with rennet and the resultant curds were hung in a muslin bag overnight to drain the whey. It is much easier now that cream cheese can be obtained from the supermarket.

It has taken Ann more than fifteen years to perfect her recipe, trying a different one every year on her husband. Then she remembered that Old Aunt Mable’s mother always added a little something from a bottle.
