I am a 64 year old self taught artist who has spent all, but my children's growing up years enjoying the pastime.

For the last few years I have become involved with groups of painters becoming a member of Kibworth Art Lovers, also of the Harborough Artiost Cluster. This means I am involved in Northampton Open Studios which is a delight and brings me into contact with people like myself who are passionate about painting.

 

     

Many of my paintings are informed by colour and skies.
Inspiration comes from imagination or perceptual experience. The beauty often seen in clouds that can direct the Art. Working in an abstract style the colour and form may take you anywhere, seeing things from a different angle. Although any seen object may set me off on a different path!

Art is my passion and I am never tired of picking up my pencils or brushes, always striving to achieve that next picture, that next special one which moves the emotions.
