Michael John Parker
Michael Parker is a 74 year old self taught
artist.
He has been painting for 20years, using the hobby as a form of stress releif
from a burdening workload. Now retired, Michael's prefered medium is Watercolour
but he also enjoys to dabble in Pen and Wash, Acrylics and Pastels.
On site challenges are a favourite pastime
and many results hang around the world. selling is not a priority with
Michael. The achievement of the attempt is enough. He prefers to observe
his work 'grow'.
Michael
assesses his work with a mixture of frustration and satisfaction but
he enjoys help and assistance from artists with professional leanings
as well as offering encouragement to those who seek his advice.
The enjoyment of painting is Michael's Crux! The result can be immaterial.
