Claire works as a professional artist, exhibiting mainly in Northamptonshire, Berkshire, the Cotswolds and West Country. She paints freely in watercolour, oil and acrylic, and accepts commissions from shops, galleries, companies and individuals.

Her paintings have found their way into homes, places of work and recreation throughout the world. She recently illustrated a childrens' book with watercolour images, and has gained a grant from the "Wellingborough New Arts Initiative" for her oil painting.
She recently won first prize in a national competition for her teaching entitled "Art for Therapy". She develops and runs courses for students of all abilities including first timers right through to "Masterclasses" around the country. Her gently step-by-step approach enables students to produce first class finished pictures in just one day. These workshops are in Northamptonshire, Newbury in Berkshire and 3 day breaks in the Cotswolds, and 1 week painting holiday in Menorca.

prints and cards, all these at very reasonable prices in the Rothwell
Gallery during April.
