Exhibits in the art and craft galleries are changed every three months and there is always an excellent show by dedicated and talented painters, cermacists, woodturners, imaginative glass, textile workers including embroidery.

The Dates for the next General Exhibition:

• The next general exhibition will be hung on Saturday April 10th, 2010, from 11.00 to 1.00pm.
• Applications for this exhibition must be in by March 27th, at the latest.
• The removal date will be Saturday July 3rd, 2010, from 11.00 to 1.00pm.

The ‘Main Gallery’ and hall area are used for the general exhibition, which we run with a 3-month exhibition period. The ‘Rothwell Room’ focuses on depictions of local scenes, people and events. The ‘Special Exhibition Room’ is available to ‘Friends’ to use for exhibitions of their own work no extra charge. This room is usually available in one-month blocks, and arrangements can be made to hold a preview event. There is currently a 6 month waiting list.

still more stewards needed!!! we are struggling to open for the normal hours, we desperately need more stewards; so if you can possibly help us please call the Centre 01536 711550.

Volunteer stewards are always needed so if you can manage a few hours anytime let us know. One off or regular, they all help to keep the gallery open.

PLEASE NOTE

Monthly Exhibitions Christine Cocksedge will be taking the bookings for the monthly exhibitions in the Small Gallery now called the 'Tresham Room'. If any Artist already knows when they would like to exhibit with us next year, Christine can be telephoned on 01536 711550. She will need to know the hanging date, the starting date, the closing date and the taking down date.
