The RHHC has close links with MLA - (Museums Libraries and Archives Council), is also a member of EmmS - (East Midlands Museum Service) and is active in the Northamptonshire Museum Forum.

Currently our ground floor displays most of our Heritage Collection. However this continues on the first floor where you will find the permanent Rothwell Shoe Industry exhibition and The Buswell Room for Social History. We have received much valuable research documentation about our building, formerly owned by the Buswell family for many years.

The first floor also houses the Art Galleries showing the work of the county's artists and craftworkers and some heritage exhibitions in the rear rooms,
.

The centre is a lively community resource, ideally located as a gateway to the heritage of the area.
We rely on our dedicated volunteers,
who answer queries, steward the galleries, care for museum objects and make the centre the success it is.
