R.A.H.C. 14-16 Bridge Street, Rothwell, has been open since 2004. We have 3 Heritage rooms and 2 Art galleries. we have archives and history of old Rothwell, along with local artists. who exhibit in the galleries. There is a courtyard garden with buildings where we hope to hold workshops, demonstrations and special exhibitions.

We are a voluntary organisation and to do the events and projects we want to do, we would like more volunteers. If you feel you could give us some of your time, no matter how little, come along and have a look around and a chat with us. You will be made very welcome.

One project we have just started is monthly talks, which seem to be a success, but to carry on doing projects we need more help. With more support we will be able to create more activities and open more hours.

We are here to:
To promote the work of local artists and craft people with classes and exhibitions for the benefit and enjoyment of a wider audience.

To collect and record the history of the town and people of Rothwell and the surrounding villages to advance our understanding of the past and provide opportunities for residents of the area to participate in learning and cultural activities.

The Centre is a lively community resource, ideally located as a gateway to the heritage of the area. We rely on our dedicated volunteers, who answer queries, steward the galleries, care for museum objects and make the centre the success it is.

Parking is free in the nearby Market Square. Our Second floor rooms are accessible by lift.
